1928 is the year the three Fail Sisters die. Knowing how and when they'll die, does it make the journey not worth it? Follow Mortimer Mortimer as his life winds around the Fail family, a giant python, a creaky grandfather clock, and a pair of prescient parakeets. This fatalist musical fable twists and turns through time to find out just how success is measured in the end.
